Text Box: Growing Healthy Communities Through Healthy Children

Jefferson Area CHIP

Text Box: Jefferson Area CHIP envisions a vibrant community with children who are healthy, confident and ready for school.
The Mission of Jefferson Area CHIP is to improve the health of children under age seven, from low-income families, as an investment in the future well-being of children and our community.
We accomplish this by reducing the barriers to achieving and maintaining optimal health and family self-reliance.
Key strategies include partnering with families, providing education and support within the home setting, and coordinating community resources.
