You have questions, we have answers.

So how does this work?

The Play it Forward! Human Foosball Tournament is a bracket style tournament. Each game is 12 minutes with a short break at the half. That may not sound like a long time, but trust us – it’s a good work out! You’ll be ready for a cold beverage between games.

Each team will have the chance to play at  least three games. Those with the best records will advance to the playoffs for the opportunity to  Go. All. The. Way! and win the prestigious CHiP Cup.

How many people can be on a team?

Six players are in play during a game, however you will have the opportunity to make substitutions. So you can keep those legs fresh and the cost per player low by adding more people to your team.

How old to you have to be to play?

We want this to be a fun, family-friendly event, so we welcome teams with kids and teens. However, players should be at least 48″ tall to play safely. We have divided the teams into two leagues: The Premier league is for the most serious competitors, and limited to ages 14 and up. the Just for Kicks league is a little more relaxed and appropriate for family groups. You will be able to choose your preference in the registration process.

How should I train for this event?

Fitness and skill are irrelevant. However, you can prepare by practicing a firm grip, kicking stuff out of the way, and taunting others from a safe distance.

What if I feel faint from hunger?

No worries! There will be food and beverages for sale to help you keep your strength up. You are also welcome to bring your own coolers and game day provisions.

But will there be hula hoops?

Chances are very good that there will be hula hoops, corn hole, face painting, and other fun distractions.

Will there be someplace to sit?

There will be picnic tables on site, but we encourage you to bring chairs and pop up tents/canopies for resting up between rounds.

What if it rains?

We have a Rain Date scheduled for 4/29 – same  time and place – in the unfortunate event we need to cancel due to inclement weather. This is an outdoor event, so watch the weather and dress accordingly.

And finally, if you are like me, the most important questions you will have are: Is there convenient parking? Are there bathrooms?

Yes and yes. Woo hoo!

I don’t see my question here. Who can I speak to about this oversight?

Email molly.fulton@jachip.org. She thinks she knows everything.
