Outreach program for pregnant and parenting teens

Promotes Positive Outcomes for Teens staying in school · getting prenatal care · having a healthy baby · being a good parent · pursuing higher education · delaying additional childbearing

Key components of the program:

  • Teens can participate at school, in community groups, and/or  in-home
  • Comprehensive teaching and activity curriculum is used,  in an easy-to-do, self-paced format
  • Peer support  in groups helps teens stay connected.
  • Interested local providers help teens get ongoing preventive health care for themselves and their babies.
  • Incentive prizes for baby supplies keep teens motivated to complete activities.
